DoT, number of guns

Hi there,

is it only allowed to bring 4 guns to Sweden with the permit? Or is it possible to bring additional 4 backup guns? If yes, the same price for the permit or have I to pay the double price?

Hello Boogie and all of you...
It does´nt say anywere in papers from the police the amunt of guns you can bring, so just bring what you need.
You only pay for a permit, not a number of guns, so you don´t pay double.
If you want to please the police, just writh down on a paper that the extra gun are for backup in case of the original guns break down.

News from local polis

If you plan to bring weapons that are license-free in your home 
country to Sweden, you need a certificate from your local police. It 
must certify that the weapons, with their serial/manufacturing-number, are license-free in your home country.

Swedish police will add the weapons to your weapon import-permit and 
you’ll avoid possible problems in the customs.

I was in to the local police some days ago,,,,,and Shotgun Boogies papers for the guns,,,,,it was the best they seen

The way that it is now,,,,that we the local club fix the paper,,,,,it makes all so easy for the Sweden police.
And thats good for the shooters in the end
